Steve Martin, Martin Short Shows In Wisconsin, Minnesota Now Postponed
Steve Martin and Martin Short have been touring together for a decade, with their first live show, "An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Lives," beginning in 2015.
They have since reinvented and renamed that show, keeping some of the popular bits while adding new material, and have kept touring the country, including several stops in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The duo was scheduled to perform in Wisconsin on Friday, February 27, at Milwaukee’s Miller High Life Theatre, then travel to Minneapolis for both a matinee and a sold-out evening show at the Orpheum Theater.
Unfortunately, Martin Short suffered a tragedy in the family, which has forced the shows to be postponed.

Martin Short's Daughter Katherine Dies at 42
Tragedy reportedly struck the Short family on Monday, February 23, when the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call from a Hollywood Hills home at 6:41 p.m. regarding a female approximately 41 years old. The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that the call was regarding a possible suicide.
The deceased has been confirmed to be 42-year-old Katherine Elizabeth Short, who was adopted by Martin and his late wife of 30 years, Nancy Dolman. The couple shared two other children via adoption, Oliver Patrick, 39, and Henry Hayter, 36. Sadly, Nancy Dolman died of ovarian cancer in 2010.
Katherine Short reportedly worked in private practice as a licensed clinical social worker and also part-time at the clinic, Amae Health, to provide community outreach, family support groups, peer support, and psychotherapy.
“It is with profound grief that we confirm the passing of Katherine Hartley Short. The Short family is devastated by this loss and asks for privacy at this time. Katherine was beloved by all and will be remembered for the light and joy she brought into the world,” the Short family shared in a statement.
Tickets For Postponed Shows Will Be Honored On Rescheduled Dates
Ticketholders in Wisconsin and Minnesota received notification that the shows had been postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances".
Obviously, no new dates have yet to be announced, but when that happens, tickets will be honored for the newly scheduled shows.
