Tri-County Humane Society Teams Up With Pantown For 'Paws On Pints'

Let's be honest. Our pets are already celebrities in our own homes.

So why not give them a chance to become one in real life while helping homeless animals across Central Minnesota?

Tri-County Humane Society has teamed up with Pantown Brewing Company for a fun fundraiser called 'Paws on Pints', and one lucky pet will become the face of a special Pantown crowler. That's some pretty impressive bragging rights for both the winning pet and its proud owner!

I've got multiple pets, and I'm not kidding when I say I'm tempted to enter every single one of them. The hard part isn't deciding WHETHER to enter. It's figuring out which adorable face deserves the spotlight.

My Mr. Bean is 19 years old and was my first pet adopted from TCHS back in 2013.

Pnuema is a supermodel of a cat...She's gorgeous and my second adopted pet from TCHS.

Then I have two other adorable faces to consider...My baby cat Jeremiah Johnson, who just turned 1 year old, and my sweet rescue Gloria, my little weiner/chihuahua/maltese sweetheart. I've never, in the last 5-6 years that I've had her, EVER seen her growl at anyone or anything. She looks like a cup of brown sugar, and she really is one.

HOW TO ENTER YOUR PET

Entering is easy. For $10, you can upload one photo of your pet along with a short story explaining why your four-legged friend deserves to win.

Each submission should feature just one animal, and photos must be submitted as JPG or PNG files. My understanding is that you can enter as many pets as you want, but they would need to be individual entries. $10 per entry.

Once the contest opens on July 13th, the real competition begins.

Friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who falls in love with your pet's adorable face can vote for their favorite. Each vote costs just $1, and voting continues through July 31st.

I have a feeling the hardest part of this contest won't be asking people to vote. It'll be deciding which picture to enter in the first place.
