Waite Park’s Family Fun Fest Kicks Off On Monday

WAITE PARK (WJON News) -- Another city festival is slated to start on Monday.  Waite Park's 58th Annual Family Fun Fest runs from Monday through Friday with a long list of activities taking place.

There will be the Medallion Hunt all week long. There is Kids Day in the Community Park on Wednesday featuring carnival games, Touch the Truck, and cookie decorating. On Thursday there is the city-wide garage sale, Quarry tours, FREE Train Tours at the STARail Museum, and the Grand Day Parade at 6:30 p.m. with the Frisbee Raffle.

For the raffle, 500 Frisbees will be tossed out during the parade and then people have to bring their Frisbee to the Community Park from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. to find out if they are a winner. Wrapping things up on Friday is the 12th Annual "Best of Show" car show and Music in the Park with the Riverside Rockets. Use this link to see the full list of events planned.
