We are all sad to see that due to retirement, Jordie's Famous Trailside Cafe has closed down, but they are inviting you to a big event this weekend.

Jordie's Cleanout & Closing Sale will be happening on May 1st and May 2nd.

Jordie's Trailside Cafe is located at 105 1st Avenue South in Bowlus, Minnesota. If you are someone who is thinking about going into the restaurant business, or if you simply are looking for some household items, there are plenty of high-quality items you might want to take a look at.

IT'S CLEAR TO SEE THAT JORDIE'S IS ALREADY MISSED BY THE COMMUNITY

The comments flooded in on their social media post about how much they will miss the 3-generation business. Still, everyone wished them well and knew that this wonderful, hardworking family deserved time together.

There were also many comments from others thinking about opening up other businesses. Someone commented that they wished someone would step up and open something in the location.

WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS WILL TAKE OVER JORDIE'S LOCATION?

A donut shop was mentioned in one comment, and another comment mentioned what a great business opportunity this location was.

Suggestions for a half-day business...something like a coffee, soup, and sandwich of the day, and perhaps only being open May through late October, so people on the trail could have a nice comfort stop and a place to grab a bite to eat.
