ST. CLOUD -- Jacob Wetterling Resource Center is asking you to leave a light on in honor of Jacob Wetterling, and other missing children, on Tuesday,October 22nd.

Tuesday marks the 24th anniversary that 11-year-old Jacob was abducted by a masked gunman in St. Joseph.

Allison Feigh with the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center says since then, the Amber Alert system has been a "huge blessing":

The resource center is asking you to help them "shine light in dark places" by leaving your porch light on.

They also ask that you talk to your kids about safety. Jacob's case remains open and unsolved.

If you have any information that could help lead to answers you're asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff's Department at 251-4240 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited children at 800-THE-LOST.
