Meet Gus – Part of a Giant Minnesota Corn Maze Now Open
If you are looking for fun things to do this fall for the entire family, you might want to take a little trip to Lanesboro, Minnesota and take a lookie at some of the thigs that Big Springs Farm pumpkins and corn maze has to offer.
As you can see from their Facebook post, this year there is a Norwegian theme. This comes complete with lots of gnomes, all watched over by Gus, the gnome. Gus is short for Asparagus. If you look at the picture of Gus, you will probably know why he has that name.
Big Springs Farm opened up their Fall festval last weekend on the 14th of September. They will remain open on weekends until October 27th. They will also be open for MEA weekend which is October 17th and 18th.
Every one of their activities are included in the price of admission, which is nice. They also offer a flashlight maze experience. That might add an element of surprise... although you could get lost. That is probably the point.
If you want to pick out pumpkins for this season's decor, they have a giant pumpkin patch too.
They also recommend that you stay and experience sunset in the sunflowers.
There is also activites for the family to enjoy including some concessions, an open slide, a zipline, hayrides, playground, photo ops and so much more! Visit them either on their socials, or on their website.
