Metal After Midnight: Metallica & Mercyful Fate LIVE

If you were at Ozzfest back in 2008 you were treated to an unlikely combination of Metallica and King Diamond.Ironically both Metallica and King Diamond started in the early 80's and were part of the undergroud Metal scene.  King had it band "Mercyful Fate" at that time and was developing a strong following.  Metallica as we all know really blew up and became one of the biggest bands of any genre.

King Diamond's style and music never fit the mainstream, his vocal style was often a higher pitched falsetto and the subject matter was about horror, the occult and the darker side of life.  Needless to say he is highly regarded among his peers.
