Minnesota Auditions For “American Idol’ Coming Next Week!

If you were born between June 2nd 1995 and February 15th 2010, You can sign up for Season 8 now.
MINNESOTA AUDITIONS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH!
Minnesota virtual auditions are happening next week on Friday, September 6th!
Auditioning for these shows is so much easier than it was before COVID. Virtual auditions mean you don't have to stand in long lines for 6 hours before your audition, and you can give your absolute best performance; hydrated and in the comfort of your own home.
HOW TO AUDITION
If you meet the eligibility requirements you can audition for Season 8 either by posting a Social Media Audition Video to your preferred platform via Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or X. You can upload a video to the American Idol Online Audition portal, or virtually attend one of the 'Idol Across America" video chats via Zoom.
You must be at least 15 years old to audition and if you were born after February 15th of 2010, you cannot audition for Season 8.
IF YOU ARE CHOSEN TO BE ON THE SHOW
If they pick you to participate in the show, you'll have to prove that you do not have any type of contractual arrangement that would prevent you from signing contracts with American Idol.
What kind of contract are they talking about? It could be an exclusive recording contract with American Idol, a merchandising contract, and a live global touring agreement, along with a music publishing or songwriting agreement if you are also a songwriter.
