Minnesota Deer Hunters Encouraged to Get License Early
UNDATED -- The Minnesota DNR is encouraging deer hunters to get their firearms licenses early.
With almost 500-thousand deer hunters in the state, the DNR is expecting long lines and possible system issues with the high sales volume.
You can get a license one of three ways. The first is to buy it in person at a license agent like a sporting goods store or bait shop. You can also buy your license online or by phone. There is a small service charge associated with online and phone transactions, however.
Minnesota's firearms deer opener is Saturday, November, 3rd.
