Wallet Hub put together a nice list of the top states for a Summer road trip. They took into account things like traffic, gas prices, number of attractions, quality of roads and the weather.

Three new states made the top 10 this year, Virginia, Wisconsin and Oregon. Florida, Washington and Colorado dropped out of the top 10 this year.

The top 10 states for a Summer road trip this year are, North Carolina, Wyoming, Minnesota,  Virginia, Texas, New York, Louisiana, Oregon, Utah and Wisconsin.

Rode Island, as always comes in dead last since it's less than 40 wide, which is not much of a road trip.

The ten worst states are Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut, Hawaii, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Montana.

I'd have to disagree with the Montana thing. It's an incredible state for a road trip.
