Update: 1 Dead, 1 Seriously Hurt In Highway 23 Crash In Foley

FOLEY -- One man is dead and another is seriously hurt after a head on crash in Foley. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 2:00 p.m. Monday on Highway 23, at 8th Avenue.

A car driven by 70-year-old Rocke Rowland of Milaca was going east when it crossed the center line. Rolwand died in the crash.

The driver of the other car, 62-year-old Terry Vedder of Milaca, was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Foley Fire Department, Foley Police Department, Benton County Sheriff and Minnesota State Patrol were all on the scene.

This is the second deadly crash to happen on Highway 23 in Foley in the last week.
