People have become absolutely crazy, or they just don't care anymore. Whatever the case, I don't know why I'm surprised at some of the behavior of people, but I still am.

Check out this situation where a woman had her car stolen.  Yes, there have been some "in broad daylight" thefts, porch pirates, burglaries, car jackings and more.  This situation is a car jacking, but the circumstances are a real head scratcher.

A woman had been pulled over as part of a sobriety check point in St. Paul.  While the test was going on, some guy jumped into her vehicle and took off.  Right in front of the officer, and the woman who owned the SUV.

Luckily, her electronics were still in the vehicle.  The guy who took the car did throw those out the window, but her Apple air tag was still on her key chain, in the car.  The police were able to track down the thief and recover the woman's SUV.

Thank goodness for today's technology.

And in another twist, the woman who was pulled over originally was not issued a DWI because she was not over the legal limit.  But guess what, the guy who stole her vehicle may be issued a DWI.  According to KARE 11, the police suspect that he was high on drugs. They are waiting for blood test results to come back.

I feel like you could say to yourself - of course he was on something.  Who else, in their right mind, would do something like that right in front of the owner of the car, AND a police officer??  It makes zero sense.  Or, people/criminals are just in that mind set of "who cares".

At least she got her vehicle back, and no DWI.
