Have you ever stepped out of a job interview and thought, "Nailed it!"...only to get the dreaded "we regret to inform you" email/text/sing-o-gram rejection anyway? It very well may have been nothing you did wrong...or maybe you're a bit of an uninformed idiot, much like myself.

  • not knowing what the prospective company actually does

Not...WHAT?!

Before you unleash the "DANG KIDS NOWADAYS!"...this study also shows grown-a$$ adults applying for SENIOR-level positions still not knowing what the company they're applying at...actually does.

I have it on reasonable authority that a quick internet search will reveal that information to you.

HOT TIP FOR GETTING A JOB

The CEO that was interviewed for this study says that the best way to get yourself at the top of the hiring list is to reach out to the company's top boss on social media. She says that it shows you're engaged and really want to work THERE, as opposed to wanting to work ANYWHERE...even if the latter is true.

Just don't send the top boss a lewd pic. Trust me and don't ask.
