Minnesotans Take A Road Trip – Summer of ’99 Festival in July
Here we are with another festival being announced. If you are a music lover, especially 90s and beyond, you may want to make plans to take a small road trip across Wisconsin to East Troy and specifically the Alpine Valley Music Theatre.

Well, it's the end of the 90s - the Summer of '99 and Beyond festival which is scheduled to take place July 18th and 19th. It's a Friday and Saturday, perfect timing for a road trip and a weekend of great music.
The first night features Nickleback as the headliner, with Live, Daughtry, Tonic, Our Lady Peace and Lit rounding out the evening.
The second night, Saturday, Creed will be the headliner, along with 3 Doors Down, Sevendust, Mammoth WVH, Hinder, Vertical Horizon and Fuel.
I realize that some people feel "some kind of way" about Nickleback. Honestly, I don't get it. I've asked so many people what the issue is, no one can give me a straight answer. But really - I would go for the two days just to take in some of Mammoth, Wolfgang Van Halen's band. That is worth the price of admission right there.
The tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10am through Ticketmaster. The pre-sale started Wednesday (yesterday).
The last time these two headliners shared a stage together was back in 1999. So it's fitting that the tour name is Summer of '99 and Beyond.
Let's make this summer of 2025 the best summer with a ton of music festivals happening all over Minnesota and the 5 state area.
