Mother's Day is coming up next weekend - May 10th.  You might start thinking about what you could do for your mom, or if you are a mom, what would you like your family to do for you?

The biggest thing that mother's want, apparently, is time.  Time to themselves, time with the people they want to be with without distractions, just more time.

But if you are thinking about going out for a brunch on Mother's Day or something, you might want to think about making some reservations now.  Brunch in this towns tends to get very busy, very quickly.  Sometimes it is done on a first come first served basis, in other places, even restaurants that don't normally take reservations might consider it for special occasions, like this one.

MOLITORS QUARRY BAR AND GRILL - SAUK RAPIDS

GRANITE CITY FOOD AND BREWERY - WAITE PARK

COYOTE MOON GRILL - TERRITORY GOLF

LEGENDS BAR AND GRILL IN THE HOLIDAY INN

JULES BISTRO - DOWNTOWN ST. CLOUD ON ST. GERMAIN STREET

It's best to keep an eye out for some great Mother's Day specials around at various restaurants.  Some might just have a special menu for brunch or separately with breakfast and lunch.  And many like the ones listed above, except for Jules, have buffet style Mother's Day brunches.

Jules usually has a great breakfast menu that you can order from.

Moms also have expressed a desire for a "me day".  Like give mom a spa day, just a day of pampering her.  A relaxing time where she doesn't have to do any work, either for her family or a regular job outside of the home.  Just some time off to relax, recharge and a way to say thank you for doing basically everything.
