Soda Getting Patriotic With New Flavors for America’s 250th Birthday
I remember being a kid in 1976 and celebrating America's Bicentennial. It's hard to believe that it's been so long that now we are celebrating another 50 years with America's 250th Birthday!
Bernick's, here in St. Cloud and Mountain Dew in general, getting ready with a brand new variety pack that is celebrating this monumental birthday.
YOUR FAVORITE SODA IS GOING PATRIOTIC FOR A LIMITED TIME
It's the Mountain Dew America Pack. This variety pack has three new flavors. They are Code Red, Voltage, and the return of the fan-favorite White Out. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what any of these flavors are, and I don't remember the White Out one, which is apparently a return, and not new.
Also, it's hard to tell what the flavors are when you just know the names of the sodas. What does that actually mean? I did a little research, meaning a Google search and found out that the flavors are these -
- White Out: The highly requested "smooth citrus" soda, which had been phased out.
- Code Red: Classic cherry.
- Voltage: Blue raspberry and citrus.

WHERE WILL YOU BE ABLE TO FIND THIS NEW VARIETY PACK
These variety packs, an 18 can pack, can be purchased all over the country, but for sure at Wal Mart stores. Some sources say that you could also purchase these packs at a Dollar General store.
I'm sure that there will be several other "patriotic beverages" that will be available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. So, keep a look out if you are wanting to get all patriotic with your beverage of choice.
