Mystic Lake Amphitheatre Opening: Concerts You Can't Miss

We have been waiting for a couple of years now to see who would be the first bands to perform at the new amphitheatre in Shakopee. And for the longest time there was no name. AND it was supposed to open this past summer, early fall. Well, we know that didn't happen. Not sure why, seems like there were a few reports of construction difficulties, naming, and some other internal issues.

DELAYS

Now it is finally happening! Or, at least it is scheduled to open next Summer.�� I am absolutely looking forward to it too!!

There have been the first two shows announced to perform at the new Amphitheatre - now named the Mystic Lake Amphitheatre. Finally - we know the name. Makes sense, too since it's basically right there.

TWO BANDS ANNOUNCED

The two bands will be performing in July. July 19th will bring Iron Maiden along with Megadeth to the Amphitheatre! This is part of their "Run for Your Lives" North American tour. Tickets officially go on sale to the general public next Friday, which is Halloween. If you are a member of their fan club, you will have the opportunity to buy your tickets on the 28th.

The second show that has been announced will be on July 22nd and that band is 5 Seconds to Summer. Those tickets will also go on sale next Friday, Halloween.

FINALLY

So, finally we can make plans to go and check out this new amphitheatre! It's been a long couple of years, and it's finally opening after quite a few delays. More shows will be announced soon.
