Lake Vermillion-Soudan Underground Mine state park is adding some cabins that will be available year round.  That means whether you are someone who loves the summers in Minnesota, or if you love all that a Minnesota winter can bring you, this will be the place for you to enjoy all that is Northern Minnesota.

Starting today, December 28th, people can start to book their vacations and occupy one of these cabins.  They are really well equipped with all the needs to stay connected, or not, depending on what is important to you. The eight new cabins have WiFi, a fire pit ring, outdoor food prep areas, and can house up to 6 people each.

If you act now, you may be able to book a stay for your New Year's Eve celebration. The 6 people is well within the COVID protocol restrictions, and might be a great idea.  At least it's something different than the norm to ring in the new, and hopefully, much more normal new year.

Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park is Minnesota’s newest state park, having been donated to the state in 1963. The DNR purchased a 3,000 acre extension of the park in 2010.
