The Disappointment Of Missing Nordic Waffles At The Fair

One of the biggest things that people look forward to at the fair, other than people watching, is the food! There are things there that one might not eat at any other time of the year, but every year at the fair, it's your go-to.

FAVORITE FOODS

Whatever that item might be differs from person to person. I see a lot of people lining up for Sweet Martha's Cookies. They actually sell the most throughout the 12 days of the fair. You can buy those cookies ready to bake throughout the year at your local grocery store, but somehow they don't taste the same as they do when you get them at the fair.

NO WAFFLES?!

One of the food vendors that was really popular last year was the Nordic Waffles. There was a line that stretched out for quite a ways throughout the 12 days of the fair. Everyone seemed to want their part of the Nordic Waffles.

But this year, even though it was a super popular item, they will not be back this year.

UNHAPPY PEOPLE

If you read many of the comments, you will see that there are so many people that are disappointed that they will not be able to get their fresh fix of Nordic waffles at the fair. They will be available in the frozen section at the grocery store, but, much like the cookies mentioned above, somehow it's just not the same.

Bummer.
