Oktoberfest Celebrations Around the St. Cloud Area This Month

We have made it to September. There are several celebrations around the St. Cloud area bringing in Fall with Oktoberfest events happening.

Oktoberfest celebrations are genrally at the end of September.  Never really understood that, but after doing some research, I found out that it's because of a very simple reason... the weather is better in September.  Honestly, that's it.  It tends to be rainy in October, and it also conflicts with harvest time. But it's really simple because the weather is nicer and more predictable in September than October.

Some of the celebrations around St. Cloud are starting within a couple of weeks.

BAVARIAN OKTOBERFEST

Come out for a Bavarian Style Oktoberfest, sponsored by the Cold Spring Area Maennerchor on Saturday, September 14, 2024, held at the River Lakes Civic Arena in Richmond from 3pm to 11pm.

There will als be a couple of bands playing thoroughout the day. From 3-7pm will be the Tim Jarnot Polka Band and from 7-11pm will be Stone Road 80&s & 90’s Country Rock Band. Tickets and other info here.  

BEAVER ISLAND BREWERY

This event is scheduled to happen on September 28th.  Admission is freen and runs from Noon until 6pm.  Their website says "more details to come". So check back often.

ROCKTOBERFEST

This event is scheduled for September 28th as well.  This event is in St. Joseph and starts at 3pm.

Rocktoberfest takes place the last Saturday of every September, in Downtown St. Joseph MN. Enjoy Authentic Craft German Beer, Food & Entertainment in the beer Hall. This is a community building event.
