One Of The Largest Traveling Ferris Wheels Makes Its Way To the Minnesota State Fair

ST. PAUL - Over 500,000 LED lights will light up 200 tons of ferris wheel at the 2017 Minnesota State Fair.

The appropriately named Great Big Wheel is one of the largest traveling ferris wheels in North America. The wheel has 36 enclosed gondolas taking riders over 150 feet in the air.

The ride will be placed in the middle of Machinery Hill at the corner of Randall Avenue and Cooper Street. The Great Big Wheel will spin everyday during the fair from 9:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m.
