Only August, But All About Pumpkin Spice

Here we go... it seems like every year the pumpkin spice thing makes an appearance earlier and earlier.  Bu this  year it seems to stand out a bit more.  Maybe it's because it's been a very hot and humid summer.  When it's still 90 degrees and humid, it doesn't seem like the right time to be thinking about Fall drinks.  Yet, here we are.

The rollout for pumpkin spice everything has happened.  I have even seen masks that are supposedly pumpkin spice.  I hope that one is really just a joke. I don't think that I could really stomach a facemask smelling like pumpkin spice... might get a bit overwhelming.

Starbucks released their pumpkin spice menu.

Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Also featured are the Salted Caramel Mocha and Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino blended beverages. There will also be fall bakery items like the Pumpkin Scone and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. 

I remember the pumpkin cream cold brew from last year.  If you are concerned about calories, but would like the pumpkin spice flavor, this might be a good alternative.  It's not like it has no calories, but it's a fraction of what the pumpkin spice latte has.  And it's actually very good.  And that's coming from someone who doesn't like black coffee at any point.

When will these be available?  Conflicting reports.  One says the 25th, which is tomorrow.  And another says the 28th of this month.  I guess we will see tomorrow which is the correct date.

If you enjoy Dunkin Donuts coffees, then you are in luck!  They rolled out their Fall menu on the 19th of this month.  Unfortunately, you'll have to drive to Rogers.  I believe that is the closest one to St. Cloud.
