Ozzy Osbourne Announces New Opening Act For 2020 Tour
Look, there are a lot of incredible singers in the history of rock music – Sammy Hagar, Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, Steve Perry, Bruce Dickinson, Maynard James Keenan, Freddie Mercury, and countless others. However, there is only one Prince Of Darkness. That’s right. Ozzy is one of a kind.
He’s a goofy character for sure, but he’s also written and performed some of the most famous and powerful rock anthems of all time. I don’t think that I’ve ever met anyone who didn’t love Ozzy, and quite frankly I don’t want to. I don’t think we could be friends.
He is currently out on his "No More Tours" tour and recently came down with a rather serious respiratory infection - so serious in fact that he had to cancel the 16 dates of his tour. That's quite a few shows. Just when he got back to good health, he sustained another injury that has forced him to postpone all of his 2019 tour dates, including his scheduled date at the Xcel Energy Center on July 6th,
Definitely a bit of a bummer. Megadeth was the opening band, which means this would have been a once in a lifetime show. The show has been rescheduled for July 3rd, 2020, however due to Dave Mustaine's own health concerns, Megadeth will no longer be the opening act. Instead Marilyn Manson will be filling the opening slot on Ozzy's return to Minnesota.
