Look, there are a lot of incredible singers in the history of rock music – Sammy Hagar, Robert Plant, Ronnie James Dio, Steve Perry, Bruce Dickinson, Maynard James Keenan, Freddie Mercury, and countless others. However, there is only one Prince Of Darkness. That’s right. Ozzy is one of a kind.

He’s a goofy character for sure, but he’s also written and performed some of the most famous and powerful rock anthems of all time. I don’t think that I’ve ever met anyone who didn’t love Ozzy, and quite frankly I don’t want to. I don’t think we could be friends.

He was out on his "No More Tours" tour and came down with a rather serious respiratory infection - so serious in fact that he had to cancel the 16 dates of his tour. That's quite a few shows. Just when he got back to good health, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease that has forced him to cancel all of his 2020 North American tour dates, including his rescheduled date at the Xcel Energy Center on July 3rd.

However, the upside of Ozzy being home bound is the fact that he is able to write and record significantly more than if he were on the road. The man himself claims he already has more material written, and that he's seriously considering going into the studio with his producer to record to a follow up to his 2020 release "Ordinary Man." 2 new Ozzy albums in one year? That would be seriously awesome.
