Pancakes And Purpose Unite At The Dream Center Breakfast
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- You can enjoy some pancakes and help support a great cause this Saturday.
Overcomers International Fellowship Dream Center is having a pancake breakfast from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Life Church at 2409 Clearwater Road in St. Cloud.
There is no set charge for the breakfast, but donations of any size are encouraged to help fund OIF Dream Center programs. The event will also include a silent auction and resident testimonials.
The OIF Dream Center is comprised of five buildings that house up to 46 men, each with their own bedroom. The men participate in cooking, cleaning, and other activities at the facilities. A staff of eight is guided by Pastor Michael Laidlaw and its board of directors. The OIF Dream Center is a nonprofit, Minnesota State Registered "Board and Lodging with Special Services" facility. Residents must be referred to the program by social workers, probation officers, or aftercare providers.
