ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- You can enjoy a night of classic hits from Earth, Wind, and Fire this Friday night. The band Urban Classics will be playing the music from the group at the Paramount Theater.
The group is led by drummer Michael Bland, who has performed with Prince and The New Power Generation, Soul Assylum, and Chaka Khan. He brings with him his longtime associate and collaborator Tommy Barbarella. He has played with Prince and The Jonas Brothers. This show is going to be a ton of fun.
Paramount Theater Executive Director Gretchen Boulka says tickets are still available for the show that starts at 7:30 p.m. this Friday.

The Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud has a lot more to offer than just the shows on the big stage. If you are interested in picking up a new hobby, they have Arts Underground every Thursday night.
September through early May every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. It's only $10 a person. You can come and try out a bunch of different things. We provide the supplies, and you can try your hand at a bunch of different arts activities.
Boulka says the visual arts department offers over 150 classes year-round. A couple of the upcoming classes include Intro to Pottery and Intro to Calligraphy.
