Paul Simon will play three shows at Minneapolis' Orpheum Theater in April of 2025 as part of his "Quiet Celebration" tour. Simon had recently announced his retirement from touring due to significant hearing loss but has changed his mind after learning to manage his condition and following a successful appearance on the recent Saturday Night Live anniversary special.

Simon will eschew the larger arenas he had played on his most recent tours and instead will play smaller, more intimate venues this time around. The Minneapolis shows will happen on April 20th, 22nd and 23rd.

Simon's last Minnesota performance came in June of 2018 at Xcel Energy Center. The "Homeward Bound" tour was tagged as Simon's farewell to touring. While that tour featured a 'greatest-hits' style setlist, this tour will focus more on Simon's latest release, "Seven Psalms."

Minneapolis will be the third stop on the tour, following a pair of New Orleans shows and three in Austin, Texas. Simon will play six shows in the Los Angeles area from July 7th to 16th.

Simon will be accompanied by his wife, singer Edie Brickell, on the 2025 tour. A presale will be held on Thursday, February 20th and the public on-sale is set for Friday, February 21st through Ticketmaster.
