Popular Southern Minnesota Brewery Closing Their Doors

If you are one of those people who love to travel around the state, and sometimes in the 5 state area trying out and enjoying different breweries, you are soon going to have one less to enjoy.

Mankato Brewery announced that they have make the difficult and unfortunate decision to close their doors.

With that said, you do still have some time to scoot on down there and enjoy their special brews. They will not be closing until their taps run out.  On their Facebook page they stated that their plan is to remain open until the last pint has been filled with the last tap.

Our taproom will remain open until the end of January 2025, or until we’ve shared our last pint and sold our final pieces of merchandise. Between now and then, we invite you to visit, relive favorite moments, and join us in honoring the passion and love that has gone into every drop of beer we’ve brewed.

This brewery has been open for the last 12 years.  And has been known for unique beers and for a place where you can enjoy those beers and listen to some great live music too.

They also said that they will have announcements on when and what you can expect some specials and deals in the coming days and weeks leading up to the final days. You can continue to check back on their Facebook page with details.

For a few years we were seeing more and more breweries pop up all over the area, and now we have been seeing more breweries closing over the last few months.  One right here in the St. Cloud area too.  Back Shed in Waite Park will be closing unless they can figure out a place that will work to move the brewery to.  Fingers crossed!
