Remaining Members Of The Monkees Are Set To Perform In Prior Lake

Now a days there are very few real rock bands left over from the glory days of the 70s and 80s. Among them AC/DC, Van Halen, Journey, and Guns-N-Roses. Another name that belongs on this list is The Monkees. Look, I know The Monkees are an acquired taste.

They aren’t exactly my personal favorite group, but I’m willing to give respect where respect is due. Davy Jones' signature vocal tone and Michael Nesmith’s catchy guitar riffs make for a pretty memorable combination, and it’s definitely a big part of why their music has stood the test of time.

If you or someone you know happens to be a fan of The Monkees then you should definitely check out their upcoming concert. It’s taking place on Thursday, March 18th at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake. The show starts at 8 pm and tickets are available online now for as cheap as $39. Obviously, there are only 2 members left in the band, but it's still worth checking out.
