I know I’m preaching to the choir here when I say that Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands of all time. Next to the mighty Tool, they’re my personal favorite. “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall” were conceptually genius, and I’m firmly convinced that the “Wish You Were Here” album is one of the few musically flawless records ever conceived.

If you had the pleasure of ever having seen Pink Floyd actually play live, consider yourself very lucky. I would probably give a limb to be able to go back in time and attend one of their concerts. The band may be officially retired at this point, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t ever see those awesome tunes played live.

“Brit Floyd’ is perhaps the most renowned Pink Floyd tribute act in the world, and luckily for we Minnesotans they’re going to be playing the Verizon Center in Mankato on July 21st. Tickets start at $25 and are available to purchase online now.
