There are a few musical acts that I’ve never heard anyone say they didn’t like. Among them – Bob Seger, AC/DC, and Journey. Another name you have to add to that list is The Beatles. I think it goes without saying that no other group in history revolutionized pop and rock music the way that The Beatles did.

Granted, they weren’t the best musicians, but they were definitely artistic visionaries. It would’ve been cool to see these guys play live, but for obvious reasons, if you didn’t see them in the 60s you’re never going to.

Fortunately, although they aren't in the same band anymore, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still active touring and recording musicians. Paul doesn't have anything planned for Minnesota anytime in the foreseeable future, but Ringo does. Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will be performing at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake on August 22nd at 8 pm. Tickets are available online now starting at $112.
