Rock Artists Who Have Never Won A Grammy
I recently wrote about artists and bands who are surprisingly not in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame. It’s a pretty big deal to get in. It’s one of the staples of any rockers career if they happen to have the privilege of ever being inducted. But that isn’t the only way recording artists are recognized for their degree of skill and success.
Winning an award at The Grammys is arguably on par with getting a Hall of Fame induction. Sure, to some people (cough cough, Eddie Vedder) a Grammy is just a silly little plastic trophy that possesses no inherent value. In ways, there’s nothing more rock-n-roll than spitting in the face of something as materialistic as The Grammys, and in that regard Mr. Vedder and others who make a joke of the whole thing have my respect.
However, for a lot of other artists, getting recognized at The Grammys is a career changing event. Sure, you see Dave Grohl and Paul McCartney winning handfuls of these awards year after year, but there are a ton of other well known rock artists who definitely deserve them who have never won. Today we’re going to be taking a look at famous rock artists who have never won a Grammy.
