When I look back on the history of music, I think my favorite era would have to be the 1970s – particularly 70s rock. It’s awfully hard to beat Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and early Aerosmith and Van Halen.

A lot of people now a days consider all of those groups to be “oldies” which is something I find terrifying. Real oldies date back to the 50s and 60s. It’s the music your grandparents probably liked. It’s not often you hear it anymore though, especially in a live setting.

Well dear reader, if you or someone you know happens to long for the oldies then you’ll be thrilled to hear that the tribute show “The Music of Roy Orbison and other 50's & 60's Teen Idols: The Ultimate Tribute Show Featuring Wayne Luchau” will be taking place at the Le Musique Room in St. Michael on November 14th at 2 pm. You can get a ticket online for as little as $28.
