This morning, NBC's "The Today Show" interviewed Admiral Gen. Shabazz Aladeen from the Republic of Wadiya. Aladeen is the latest character from the mind of Sacha Baron Cohen and the subject of the movie "The Dictator" out May 11th. The reason the movie is getting a lot of buzz lately is that the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts & Sciences is telling Cohen he's not allowed to come to the Academy Awards in character. We'll just have to wait and see how this one plays out. Of course, the movie is getting a lot of press because of the ban, so he may not have to do anything at the Oscars. While I wasn't a big fan of "Borat", the trailer for "The Dictator" looks pretty funny.
