This isn't the first time Sauk Centre has been mentioned on this website, but it's the first time an entire article was written specifically about the town. If you've ever been there then you'll know exactly why!

The popular website, OnlyInYourState.com, has mentioned Sauk Centre before, but it was grouped in with an article about Tutti Fruitti's Restaurant titled "There’s A Restaurant On This Remote Minnesota Farm You’ll Want To Visit". This time Sauk Centre, as a town, was the focus of an article that shows just how great they are!

This time around, OnlyInYourState.com featured Sauk Centre in an article titled "The Tiny Minnesota Farm Town That’s Now A Midwest Food Destination", and it's filled with more information about the town than I would have ever known about.

I didn't realize its Main Street made famous by Sinclair Lewis in 1920. In 1930, he became the first writer from the United States to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. (Wikipedia)

There's a TON of great restaurants and bar & grills to choose from, no matter what you're feeling like eating. From Elmerz, to The Ding Dong Cafe, to JT's Pub & Grill...you're covered.

I've met a few people that are from there, and I can honestly say they've all been the nicest people you've ever met. They're all proud of the town they live in and couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

If you're from here then it's likely you've been through Sauk Centre, and if not then it might be worth the trip up I-94 about 40 minutes from St. Cloud. I've never been there before, hear about the town all the time. It might be time to take a weekend trip!
