Join us at Parkwood Cinemas or listen to Sloan and Jenna this week for your chance to get on the VIP List for a very special presentation of Ben Hur on Thursday night at 7:30pm. The original William Wyler's classic starring Charleton Heston returns to the big screen as part of the Marcus Parkwood Cinema's special Oscar Film Festival. All through the months of January and February, Parkwood will be screening classic Oscar winning films. The best part? Not only are these films being shown on the big screen, so you can fully appreciate their awesomeness, but they're only $5 to see.

When you get on the list, you and a friend will see the Thursday night 7:30 showing of this sweeping epic.

Judah Ben-Hur lives as a rich Jewish prince and merchant in Jerusalem at the beginning of the 1st century. His old friend Messala arrives as commanding officer of the Roman legions. At first they are happy to meet, but their different political views separate them. During the welcome parade a brick falls down from Judah's house and barely misses the governor. Although Messala knows that they are not guilty he sends Judah to the galleys and throws his mother and sister into prison. But Judah swears to return and take revenge.
