Should the Day After the Super Bowl Be a National Holiday?
There are certain days of the year that are the big party days. There's Halloween, St Patrick's Day, 4th of July and of course New Year's Eve. That's four stinkin' days out of the year. We need at least one more and I have just the answer.
Since the Super Bowl is always on a Sunday and probably always will be, we should make the Monday after the Super Bowl a National Rehab Day. Watching the Super Bowl can be filled with too much to drink, too much to eat and maybe the chance of partying way past the end of the game.
This can lead to extreme fatigue and/or general hungoverness (yeah, I just made that word up). So, to me, it makes perfect sense to make the day after, a national holiday.
