Show Off Your Dog on National Dog Day

Okay, I admit, I like dogs pretty much more than I like people. I don't think I'm the only one, either.  It's National Dog Day, so give your dog an extra treat or a longer walk.

Better yet, post a picture of your "best friend" and make he or she famous for a day.

Here's some info on how people treat their dogs.  Now, I am fully aware where the saying "It's a dog's life" comes from.

Over 85% of dog owners tell their dog "I love you" at least once a month.

73% buy their dog a monthly gift

Almost 70% let their dog sleep on their bed (guilty)

Almost 80% of women and 67% of men find dog lovers attractive.

39% of women and 23% of men would prefer to stay at home with their dog than go on a date

Almost 65% look forward to coming home to their dog.

Just under two thirds day they are more patient because of their dog.
