Sir Paul McCartney has a royal date this summer as he helps Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth the Second's celebrate her 60 years on the throne. 

This is a big year for Paul McCartney as he just got married, he released a new album, he's nominated for a Grammy Award, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame tomorrow, he's performing at the Grammy Awards Ceremony on Sunday, hitting the road for a tour, rumor has it he's performing at the London 2012 Olympics and now he's helping Her Majesty celebrate a big year.

Prince Harry and his older brother, William, Duke of Cambridge helped select the artists on the bill. More performers will be announced in the weeks ahead as they are booked. Ten thousand tickets will be handed out for British Subjects and tourists alike via an online ballot lottery that ends on March 2.

Paul McCartney is the headliner for the concert which will take place outside of Buckingham Palace on June 4. Elton John is also slated to perform and the concert will cap the Diamond Jubilee festivities which actually began this past Monday.
