Slash to Get Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The former Guns n' Roses guitarist is set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Slash will get star number 2,473 and it will be placed in front of the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood.

Slash will be there for the ceremony and immediately after the dedication, Slash is going to put on an acoustic performance and do a question and answer session with his friend Myles Kennedy. The performance will not be open to the public but anyone is welcome at the star unveiling.

This is a big year for Slash. He was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April with Guns n' Roses, he released a new album and is currently out on tour. He was also featured on the Guitar Center Sessions last month and it was a really good episode.

The star unveiling will take place July 10 at 11:30 in the morning. Hopefully Slash can get out of bed on time. I know that he used to get up around 7 and get out of bed around 9 but then he started dancing with Mr. Brownstone and now he gets up around whenever, so I hope he makes it there by 11:30.
