St. Cloud Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Hotel Guests [VIDEO]
ST. CLOUD - A scary incident for two guests staying at a St. Cloud hotel. Police were called to the Holiday Inn on 37th Avenue South just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The caller told the 911 operator that there was a man pounding on her door, and the door of the room next to hers, yelling that he had a switchblade. And he was trying to force his way into the rooms.
Before police got there, the suspect - later identified as 30-year-old Elakie Fale Junior of St. Cloud - also called 911 saying there was a bomb in one of the rooms.
While officers were talking to the victims, Fale Junior pulled a fire alarm. He was taken into custody after running from the hotel. He's facing charges of threats of violence, disorderly conduct, tampering with a fire alarm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two victims were 49-year-old and 25-year-old women who are here on business from Texas. No one was hurt.
