Family-Friendly Fun Awaits At St. Joseph's Winter Walk

This time of year, I love all the cozy and holiday feels. During this time of year everyone seems just a little happier. People are more giving, and there is lots of cheer and good will all over.

One of the annual events that happens is Winter Walk in St. Joseph. This is such a warm hearted kick off to the holiday season. This year, the event is being held next Friday night, December 5th. And with the winter storm coming the next couple of days, it's really going to feel more like Christmas.

There are several events that happen throughout the evening of Winter Walk which runs from 4pm through 8pm. Many of the events and festivities are free. Something for the entire family to enjoy.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE 4 HOURS OF WINTER WALK

This year, there is a new event. There is always live music all over downtown St. Joe during Winter Walk, but this year, there will be a concert from the Great River Chorale that will be included as one of the eight live music performances. This will be held at the Church of St. Joseph in the church sanctuary. It starts at 7:30. This event is not free, but tickets are available now at greatriverchorale.org fro $18 for adults and $5 for a youth ticket.

There will also be live music at Krewe Restaurant, Obbink Diltilling, Jupiter Moon Ice Cream, Bat Habit Brewing, Church of St. Joseph Heritage Hall, and St. John's Prep Chamber Choir who will be traveling around caroling under the direction of Jeff Engholm. All of these events are free.

ENJOY FOOD & SHOPPING WITH FUN EXPERIENCES

Here are just some of the events - shops will also be open and will have some fun deals to enjoy.

Obbink Distilling will have free hot chocolate while supplies last, plus some egg nog and spiced hot chocolate for purchase.

The St. Joe Meat Market will have free holiday sausage sampling from 4-6pm

Mr and Mrs Claus on the patio at Bello Cucina Italian Steakhouse

There will be a Parish Craft Sale and a Hot Turkey Meal at the Church of St. Joseph Heritage Hall as wella s Hot Apple Cider and wellness Samples with a Salt Room Experience at St. Joe Health and Wellness.
