Stay in a Castle on the St. Croix- Perfect Wknd Getaway

Since we have been in this global pandemic, and most  everything has been cancelled, including vacations, it's time to get a bit more creative.  People are opting for more of a road trip to somewhere more close by than the typical "beach vacation".

This castle is located on the St. Croix River down by Stillwater.  It would be a great getaway for the family, or maybe for a few friends.  Great location to view the Fall colors along the St. Croix River.  I feel like we sometimes miss out on the great things we have right here in Minnesota.  We always want to go somewhere tropical, or mountainous, or somewhere that is quite a distance.  If there is anything good that has come out of this pandemic, and  not being able to travel as much as we would like to, is getting back to the basics.  Family, close friends, and rediscovering cool stuff in Minnesota.

Check out the Castle here, it's available to rent out for about $856 a night through Airbnb.  It sleeps 8 people.  Divided up, if you have a group going, doesn't seem too bad.
