The 'Sunset Strip' documentary features interviews with rockers like Ozzy Osbourne, Tommy Lee, Alice Cooper, and members of Ratt, along with appearances by Johnny Depp and Mickey Rourke. And that's just the short list of musicians and actors making cameos. The film premieres Friday at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.

The basic idea of the documentary is to show the mile and a half long Sunset Strip in California for all its glory, grime, and infamy.

There is a good mix of things going on in the film - from storytelling, to original concerts, animation, live performances, and even rare archival film clips. The producers said "...we dive into the mystique and hidden history of this curvy mile-and-a-half stretch of road that has steered world culture for nearly a century." Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses drummer) is one of the producers on the film.

Here is a clip of the documentary, check it out - it actually looks really interesting.
