The top seeded Albany Huskies defeated 8th seeded Pelican Rapids 80-57 Tuesday night in the Class 2-A State Tournament Quarterfinals at Williams Arena. Albany went out to a 47-26 halftime lead and never looked back while improving to 30-0.

The Albany boys basketball team is back at the Class 2-A State Tournament for a 3rd straight season with their sights set on winning their 2nd state title in 3 years. Albany is 29-0 and is the #1 seed.

The 28-2 Albany Huskies are seeded #1 in the Class AA State Tournament and will open play against #8 seed New London-Spicer Thursday, November 7 at 1 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on court 1.
