The St. Cloud V.A. is hosting an event called "Medication Take Back Day" on October 29th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is for the public, not just veterans. Everyone is invited to come to the medical center to safely and securely dispose of unused and expired medications.

The Asset and Infrastructure review process determined their recommendations for entire the Veterans Administration Health Care system which includes the St. Cloud V.A. Barry Venable is the Public Affairs Officer for the St. Cloud V.A. He says for the past 3 to 4 years the V.A. has been conducting research to determine the asset and infrastructure situation within the V.A. system.

At this time a booster or 3rd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine hasn't been approved for everyone but has been approved for those who have a compromised immune system. St. Cloud VA Public Affairs Officer Barry Venable says if veterans qualify for this they should contact the St. Cloud V.A. primary physician and they will work to get them that 3rd dose as soon as possible.
