The bear hunting season runs Sept. 1-Oct. 15. The bear lottery is open until May 5

The post from Voyageurs doesn't have a lot of words other than let you know that "New spot. New camera. Different bears. Same result."

The Minnesota Fish and Wildlife page on Facebook is warning drivers of an increased risk of seeing bears on the road this time of year.

The Vikings improved to 4-1 after posting a 29-22 win at home over the Chicago Bears Sunday. The win was secured when Vikings defensive back Cameron Dantzler took the ball away from Chicago receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette. Smith-Marsette was cut by the Vikings just over a month ago and picked up by the Bears.

Bear encounters have been on the increase this summer in Minnesota and the DNR has just issued a few tips on how to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

The Vikings lost 16-6 Sunday afternoon in Chicago to the Bears to drop to 2-2 on the season. Chicago led 10-0 at halftime and 16-0 at the end of 3 quarters. The Vikings knocked out Bears' starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in the 1st quarter but backup Chase Daniel threw for 195 yards and a touchdown to lift Chicago to the win.

The great white hunter. A man to be revered or reviled, depending on your environmental leanings. But it's undeniable that this version of getting close to nature on a hunting stand in the woods was NOT in this guy's plans.

The Vikings lost 39-10 at Chicago Sunday night to fall to 1-5 on the season.  Devin Hester made a pair of big plays for the Bears.  He had a 48-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter and added a 98-yard kickoff return touchdown in the 2nd half...

Oh, if only we could combine last year with this year. The good and the bad-but-interesting. I'm serious. I'm writhing in pain over the fact it's not possible.
