Burning

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will start burning restrictions in Central Minnesota on Monday. Open burning restrictions will be in effect for Benton, Stearns, Sherburne, Todd, Morrison and several other counties.

St. Cloud fire officials are enforcing a ban on burning this week. St. Cloud Fire Marshal Mike Post says due to dry and high wind conditions all burning permits, including recreational burning permits have been suspended.
