Road work will prompt a brief closure at one of St. Cloud's Mississippi River crossings.

A street that divides St. Cloud and Waite Park will be closed for reconstruction starting next week.

Road construction is closing a busy north-south corridor in St. Cloud.

A south St. Cloud intersection will temporarily become a four-way stop due to some construction work in the area.

The last 3 years the 7 wading pools in St. Cloud have been closed. In 2020 and 2021 the reason was due to the pandemic but this year the reason was due to a lack of part-time life guards to work at the pools. St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis joined me on WJON for a radio town hall meeting.

The city of St. Cloud is working on parking ramp maintenance this summer. St. Cloud Assistant Public Works Director Dan Legatt joined me on WJON this week. St. Cloud has 5 downtown parking lots and most need some maintenance with the majority of the work needing to be done on the Paramount parking ramp.

The city of St. cloud is closing Cooper Avenue South beginning Monday.

St. Cloud is moving Friday garbage pick up due to the Good Friday holiday.

The city of St. Cloud hasn't given up on the possibility of draw strings for the clear/white compost city bags. Maintenance Supervisor for St. Cloud Public Works Dan Legatt joined me on WJON. He says they are always looking for vendors who offer draw strings for their compost bags because he knows they are popular.

The city of St. Cloud will be completing two major road construction projects this year and will be sharing in a third.
