The Townsquare Media - St. Cloud radiothon held on Tuesday was a huge success for a local nonprofit.

Townsquare Media - St.Cloud's radiothon raising funds and awareness for Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud is underway.

Even though Quiet Oaks Hospice House has been in our community for over 15 years now, many of us have never actually visited the home.

The Townsquare Media-St. Cloud stations (WJON, River 96.7, 103.7 The Loon, Mix 94.9, Granite City Sports, and Minnesota's New Country 98.1) are hosting a day-long radiothon with all of the money raised benefitting Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud during the Women's Fund Presents Dancing With Our Stars event.

Quiet Oaks Hospice House has been our community for 15 years now, providing quality end-of-life care to individuals. Executive Director Linda Allen says their focus is not just for the individuals but for their families as well. They have skilled nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

By now many of you know that I have been asked to be a part of the event as one of this year's 'Community Stars". It is an exciting opportunity and I'm thrilled to finally be able to talk about it.

The lineup has been announced for the 8th annual Dancing With Our Stars fundraiser. The event is organized by the Women's Fund of Central Minnesota Community Foundation.
